After you choose your Ernest home, we’ll complete your purchase agreement. This is a major milestone that officially begins your Path to Ownership.

From here, our professional team begins preparing your homesite, finalizing engineering, and getting the physical building process started.

Once your purchase agreement is complete, you’ll work closely with your lender to finalize your financing. This ensures everything is in place so we can focus on the craftsmanship of your new home.

With your financing secured, you’re one step closer to your Design Studio session where you’ll start choosing the finishes that make your house a home.

This is the fun part! At the Ernest Homes Design Studio, you’ll meet one-on-one with a professional Design Consultant to choose your cabinets, countertops, flooring, and lighting.

Our goal is to help you select the finishing touches that reflect your personal style and make your new home feel uniquely yours.

Our team now has everything needed to start building your new Ernest home — including personalized plans, engineering, construction permits, and scheduling.

This is an exciting milestone! You will meet with your Project Manager and New Home Consultant to review your finalized plans and Design Studio selections.

During this meeting, we’ll discuss the construction timeline and set clear expectations for communication so you feel confident as we break ground on your new home.

It’s time to see your vision take shape! Your Project Manager and New Home Consultant will keep you updated as we move from foundation to framing.

We believe in transparency, so we will invite you to tour your new home at key milestones, ensuring you see the quality and care built into every square inch of your Ernest home.

Before your New Home Orientation, our team conducts a rigorous multi-point inspection. We perform detailed quality-control checks on every system and finish to ensure your home meets our high standards of craftsmanship.

Your new home is personalized and complete! During your New Home Orientation, we’ll demonstrate how your systems work, provide maintenance tips, and review your comprehensive warranty program.

The big day is here! We work closely with your lender and closing attorney to ensure everything is prepared for a smooth and stress-free closing. This is the moment you officially become a homeowner.

Our team will be by your side to answer final questions, celebrate this milestone, and—most importantly—hand over the keys to your brand-new Ernest home.
