Ernest Williams, founder of Ernest Homes, was a humble man who loved his God, his family, his friends, his work, and of course, his Harley. He was a loving father and a loyal friend. As a third generation brickmason who preferred blue jeans over a business suit, he was more comfortable spending time on home sites in the Savannah sun than behind a desk in the office.
He was an extraordinary craftsman and visionary new home builder. In 1986, Ernest invited his wife Beth to partner with him in the homebuilding business. He worked quietly and diligently behind the scenes – pouring foundations, laying brick, framing houses and building beautiful new Ernest homes, as Beth managed the finances, perations, sales and marketing departments. They became known as the region’s perfect home building team!
Sadly, Ernest passed away in early 2007, but his legacy lives on. Beth along with their daughters, Jessica Miles and Stephanie Carter, continue building homes with Ernest’s passion for excellence, pride in workmanship, and commitment to customer service, which continue to serve as the foundation for the company’s growing success.
Under the guidance of Beth Williams Holley, Ernest Signature Custom Homes has grown into an industry leader at both the local and national levels. Jessica, Vice President and Stephanie, Director of Customer Services oversee the day to day operations in preparation of becoming the successors of their family’s homebuilding business.
With the help of David Millek, Director of Construction, Ernest Signature Custom Homes is continually recognized as Coastal Georgia’s best builder. Today, the entire Ernest team remains committed to achieving complete homebuyer satisfaction by building relationships based on integrity, professionalism and respect.
