Our founder, Ernest Williams, had a dream to change the lives of homeowners. In 1986, that dream came true — and today, Ernest Homes continues his legacy, building new homes across Savannah, Richmond Hill, and Effingham County, GA.
A third-generation brick mason, Ernest Williams preferred building under the Savannah sun to sitting behind a desk. A humble man devoted to his family, friends, and craft, Ernest built more than homes — he built a legacy of integrity, hard work, and heart that lives on through Ernest Homes today.
Over 30 years ago, Ernest and his wife, Beth, turned their shared vision into a family business dedicated to improving the lives of homeowners. While Ernest managed the construction side, Beth led the financial and operational teams — and together, they built both beautiful homes and lifelong relationships.
