Employee Spotlight - Meet Tony Sardinas!

Building trust is every bit as important as building homes. At Ernest Homes, we focus not only on creating beautiful, high-quality homes tailored to your lifestyle — we also build lasting relationships. Our team is the foundation of that commitment. As the leading homebuilder in Savannah, GA, we know how important it is to have the right people working side-by-side with our homeowners, guiding them from the first conversation to the final walk-through.

Today, we’re proud to introduce one of our outstanding team members: Tony Sardinas, one of our top Sales Agents. Tony has been part of the Ernest Homes family for nearly a decade, bringing enthusiasm, market knowledge, and a sincere dedication to helping families find the perfect new home.

A graduate of the University of Connecticut with a degree in Political Science, Tony discovered his passion for real estate 24 years ago and has never looked back. He is licensed to sell homes in both Georgia and Florida. Originally from Connecticut, Tony spent 20 years in Florida before relocating to Richmond Hill to be closer to family — and to enjoy a gentler climate.

“After two decades of heat in Orlando, this area truly has the best of all four seasons,” Tony says. He and his wife — a nurse at St. Joseph’s/Candler — have two sons, one currently attending Richmond Hill High School and the other at Richmond Hill Middle School.

When asked what sets an Ernest Signature Custom Home apart, Tony didn’t hesitate. “I’ve sold for other builders, and Ernest builds the best quality homes in the Greater Savannah area,” he shares. He also values working for a locally owned, family-focused company where customers are treated as people — not numbers.

Tony’s passion for helping families is at the heart of his success. “I want to continue helping people achieve the American dream of owning a home,” he says. “That’s absolutely my favorite part of my job.” Staying among the top sales professionals in the Greater Savannah market remains one of his personal goals — and his exceptional reputation shows he’s right on track.

His approach to customer service? Simple, but powerful. “Listening to people’s concerns and making the homebuying process easy is the key,” Tony explains. “And I always remind customers to look closely at the workmanship of different builders. You truly get what you pay for. When they compare, they see that features other builders offer only as upgrades are standard with Ernest.”

And for the fun “get-to-know-you” question — what’s the most interesting thing in Tony’s garage? His answer caught us by surprise: “I have a bookcase that I made in wood shop over 30 years ago. It still looks great and we use it every day.”

A top sales agent, a customer-service standout, and skilled with tools? We’re convinced Tony has a lot more stories behind that bookcase… and we may just need to ask him what’s on the shelves!
