Keeping Up with the Latest Reopening News
As more and more states begin to roll out their Phase I reopening plans, the team at Ernest Homes is focusing on expanding our coronavirus protocols in a careful, measured way. Our goal is simple – we want to protect our customers, employees, vendors, trade partners and visitors while we continue to design, build and show some of the most exciting new construction in the Savannah, GA area.
When the coronavirus first arrived in the Coastal Empire and Low Country, we were among the first local home builders to embrace the essential steps required to keep everyone safe. Now that the country is taking the first steps to our new normal, we want to let you know that we’re welcoming walk-in visitors in addition to providing scheduled tours by appointment and guided virtual tours of our available homes.
We’re continuing our program of enhanced cleaning and sanitization that we’ve been diligent about following in the past couple of months, along with keeping our social distance for safety. We’re limiting groups to less than ten people in any of our public areas at all times, and recommending that all visitors wear a mask or face covering while we meet in person.
We’re also using a wide variety of audio/visual tools to meet the needs of our customers. We understand that not everyone may be ready to leave their homes as of yet, but they may want to explore their options nonetheless. Video chat with us, set up a Zoom meeting or a conference call, reach out through Facebook, Facetime, Google Hangouts or Skype. Making technology work for all of us is the backbone of our current safety protocol…along with washing our hands, of course!
We’re also keeping up with the latest developments in “flattening the curve” by following the recommendations of the CDC and other government agencies, as well as reaching out to some of our most respected regional health officials to tailor our actions to the specific needs of our local communities.
